Summer light, Summer Bright

I've read on a few different blogs (here's one) about tying a thin scarf around a purse handle to add a little something extra or give a new look to an often used bag. I put the idea aside every time, as the examples were usually wicker/ rattan bags, which I don't have! Well, I saw this scarf for $1 at a thrift store on Saturday and immediately loved the summery colors. It's a bit long, so I'll have to play around with ways to tie it, but I love the pop of color it adds!
